Windblown remodel debris near Liberty High School
In Garin Ranch, we got called after a winter wind pushed light demo debris out of an open pile and across a driveway near Liberty High School. The morning air still felt damp, but the gusts had already dried out drywall scraps, packaging, and trim pieces enough to skitter into the street. That kind of mess doesn’t just look bad in a mature subdivision; it turns into a pickup headache fast and leaves the homeowner worried about complaints from neighbors and a bigger cleanup before the next round of weather.
We rolled in with a 20-yard dumpster, set it tight to the driveway edge, and had our crew hand-load the loose framing, broken sheathing, and bagged debris so nothing blew loose again. I remember checking the pile twice because Garin Ranch streets stay busy when school traffic starts moving. Once we buttoned it up, the driveway cleared out, the neighbors had a clean view again, and the customer could keep the remodel moving without chasing scraps all afternoon.
I finally got the debris contained, and the whole driveway looked clean again by the time the crew left.
